Every year we hire a number of interns. You must enjoy people, be customer service oriented, have a love for the river, a great work ethic and enjoy enduring the out-of-doors. We accept all college majors.

As an intern you will be trained (at no charge to you). You will perform a number of duties: guiding, shuttling, camp help, (i.e set up and tear down), office duties, manual labor, and other duties as assigned.  Application closes March 17, 2008.

  
 
 
 
 
We need weekend guides.  If you live in relatively close proximity to Riggins, are a fun person and love the river, we invite you to apply for one of our weekend guide positions.  We will train you at no charge, but need you to be available on weekends for June through September.  Please call for more information.

We offer guide training at $100 per day on the main section of the Salmon River. Our first session is the Memorial Weekend(Sat.-Mon.). The minimum requirements by the Idaho Outfitters Guide and Licensing Board is 3 times down the river to get your license to guide and 6 times down to be a lead guide. These are the minimum, Salmon River Experience requires more.
